The Specialized Stumpjumper FSR is a great bike with awesome geometry and is a great climber and is light, lean and acurate. The Stumpjumper offer a cush ride that soaks up bumps and feels great even after a long day's ride. The Stumpjumper FSR is a great all around full suspension mountain bike. I don't recommend it for downhillers but this is more of an all mountain, free-ride, cross country bike. The harder you ride the stumpy, the more it likes it! The Fox Float RL fork and the Fox Triad rear shock both have lock out, but the Specialized Stumpjumper FSR is so efficient you don't need to lock them out when climbing.
# FSR M5 manipulated alloy frame w/ Transform monocoque TT, Spinal Tech 1pc forged BB, seat tube, and seat bridge
# Fox Triad, custom on-the-fly 3-position switch
# Fox Float 120 RL fork
# Specialized adjustable rise stem
# SRAM X-9, 9-speed rear derailleur
# DT custom for Specialized X420 rims
Overall the Stumpjumper is a well made bike with good components and is fun to ride, looks good and Specialized is a quality company with frame warranty.
